Class Structure
Each ZOOM class you sign up for will provide an email with the meeting pin and passcode in it. You will use this to log into ZOOM. Our instructor will be there to greet you, and will lead each session the way we do in the classroom. Each class is interactive, and you will receive guidance the whole way through the class. Through video and audio sharing, we can look at each person performing CPR and instruct you for an informative online experience as possible.
Each class time will be reserved for one person right now. If there is a family that wants to do the instruction together, we can arrange that.

Accessing the Virtual Classroom
If this is the first time you’re using Zoom on your computer or tablet, give yourself 15 minutes before your class to click on the “ZOOM” button above and follow the prompts to download the software.
Once Zoom is set up, joining a virtual classroom is as easy as clicking on the “ZOOM” button about five minutes before the appropriate class time. Please make sure your Zoom name is easily recognizable and matches the name under your registration. Otherwise, it will be difficult to know who you are and we may not be able to get you your certification as fast as we normally do. The Zoom name window should open the first time you use Zoom if you need to edit your name.
Once the session begins, you will be able to see the instructor on the screen. The instructor may mute participants’ microphones to prevent distractions and background noise (from pets, phones, etc.), but you will always be able to unmute yourself to ask questions.
Since this is a required part of the class to receive certification, video sharing will need to be enabled the entire class for the instructor to be able to teach you CPR and have you practice on your equipment.
