At Desert Heartbeat CPR, we aim to keep our pricing affordable while providing high-quality training. The average cost for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED classes from competitors is $79. We understand that may seem high, so we strive to keep our pricing lower without adding additional fees. As a small local business, it’s important to us that everyone has access to these life-saving skills at an affordable rate.
All students are required to complete the online portion of their blended learning course prior to class and avoid last-minute completion, as technical issues may occur that could delay your progress. If you do not complete the online portion before class, you will not be allowed to attend class. You will have to reschedule and pay the rescheduling fee of $15.00.
Additionally, we ask that you attend the class you signed up for. However, we understand that emergencies happen, and offer the following Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
Cancellation by Desert Heartbeat CPR
If for any reason a class is canceled by Desert Heartbeat CPR, registered students will be notified immediately. They will have the option to reschedule to another class or request a full refund.
Refund Policy
At Desert Heartbeat CPR, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Our refund policy ensures fairness while maintaining the integrity of our scheduling and operations.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@desertheartbeatcpr.com
Our business hours are 9am to 5pm. Requests sent after business hours will be considered received on the next business day.
Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days.
Rescheduling Policy
To reschedule, email info@desertheartbeatCPR.com. Proof of contact is required—texts and phone calls are not accepted.
Late Policy
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class starts. The door closes 5 minutes after the start time, and late arrivals will not be allowed to participate.
No Show Policy
A student who fails to attend the class without notifying us before the start time or by the time class ends will be considered a NO SHOW. We do not offer refunds, reschedules or credits for NO SHOW students.
Instructor Course Cancel/Reschedule Policy
Seats are Limited
No Charge Rescheduling: You may reschedule your class up to 5 days in advance at no additional charge.
Rescheduling Fee: For any rescheduling request made within 4 days or less of the scheduled class, a $25 rescheduling fee will apply.
Online course must be completed, and materials must be brought to class. Instructor Canidates must have their current Adult / Pediatric First Aid, CPR /AED or BLS with Red Cross, AHA or HSI by class start date. No exceptions - if prerequisites aren't met you will have to reschedule.
Credit Card/Debit Card Dispute
It is your responsibility to know and understand the charges you submit. We do not manually charge payments—payments are submitted by the student. If you accidentally submit more than one payment, you have up to five days from the date of payment to contact us to rectify the situation and receive a refund.
If a charge is disputed by the student (or the cardholder) for any reason, including lack of recognition or recall of the charge, the student is responsible for a $25 processing fee in addition to the original amount owed for the transaction.
